Connecticut HQ Art

PMI Art is an ongoing initiative to purchase works on paper—including photography and prints—by contemporary artists of the Americas for the new Connecticut headquarters. Continuing to look forward and to find new voices with the vibrancy of today’s culture, this artwork will reflect the diverse backgrounds of the wide range of people who call the Americas home. The collection will focus on new and innovative pieces that represent PMI’s smoke-free future—one in which we take a science-driven approach to create new products—as well as pieces that represent the culture of the places where we operate.

These artists represent the diverse consumers PMI currently serves, reflecting our enhanced core missions. The new art will feature nature, portraits, and other representational work, and the next phase is to focus on artists and artwork from Latin and South American countries. What you see here is just the beginning of this continuing and living project, with a pragmatic approach that will assure that these artworks retain value over time.
