Adrian Gaut is a photographer based in New York City. After originally training as a painter, he began exploring architecture through photographs inspired by Minimalism. While his work continues to be informed by architectural concerns, his subject matter has grown to encompass many other facets including landscapes, still lifes, and portraits. These works continue his exploration of the graphic simplicity, yet power, that was evident in his earlier work.

Gaut’s work has appeared in many publications, including Architectural Digest, Art in America, New York Magazine, and T: The New York Times Style Magazine.
